Editorial guidelines


Title display

 

  • 80 characters max (including spaces)
  • Write only the title of the offer
  • Avoid abusive uppercase (respect the title of the manufacturer)
  • Do not add technical details (they go in a dedicated field: <description>)
  • Do not add promotional messages (promotional code, payment facilities, etc..). You have at your disposal dedicated fields for the display of promotion codes and a merchant-info field that allows you to display additional information associated with your brand.
  • Do not add HTML code

Description display

 

  • 300 characters max (including spaces)
  • Only write the description of the offer (this information will be essential to research your offers using the search bar)
  • It’s not necessary to repeat again the product title
  • Avoid abusive uppercase
  • Do not add any advertising. You have at your disposal dedicated fields for the display of promotion codes and a merchant-info field that allows you to display additional information associated with your brand.
  • Do not add HTML code

Image display

 

  • Link to a picture of the offer. Use the largest image available on your site.
  • They must not contain any watermark or business logo. It is recommended to provide pictures on a white background in jpg, png or gif formats.
  • The minimum recommended size is 300 * 300 and the maximum recommended size is 6.6 million pixels.

Examples:

  • image 1024 * 768 = 786 432 pixel = OK
  • image 1600 * 1200 = 1 920 000 pixel = OK
  • image 1518 × 5908 = 8 968 344 pixel = NOT OK

Merchant-info display

 

  • 150 characters max (including spaces)
  • This field allows you to associate additional information to your brand (not on the product!). Eg presentation of the company, sales outlets, delivery
  • Avoid abusive uppercase
  • Do not add HTML code
  • Do not add URLs

Duplicated offers

 
We accept the duplication of identical accessories (same manufacturer ID, same price) only if this accessory is compatible with a short list of models (see the example below).

However, if we accept the duplication of accessories, it is imperative for you to present only one compatible model per offer. You cannot duplicate the number of compatible references in a single offer, either in the title or description (see the example below).

Specific case of generic accessories:

If we accept the duplication of offers of identical accessories with a short list of models, we cannot accept the duplication of generic accessories. Additionally, all models cannot be duplicated in the catalogue that is sent to us

Eg Bluetooth headsets are compatible with all Bluetooth mobile, they can not be multiplied like other types of accessories (see the example below).

Here is a list (not exhaustive) of accessories which we consider “generic” to all brands (and therefore without duplication of offers):

  • Bluetooth headset & handsfree Bluetooth Mobile Phones
  • Universal case in Hifi Photo Video, Computer & Mobile Phone
  • Standard size battery (AAA, LR3, LR6 …) video picture battery.
  • etc.

In this case we ask you for one identical offer, indicating this notion of generic compatibility in the “description” of your offering (see information framed in red below)
